about

With this recording we welcome our new friend Tetsuya. He came a long way, from Osaka to Melbourne, to add his guitar to Seiuchi and stretch our sound from three to four players. On the 19th of November 2015 we played for the first time. It was raw and fresh. Pure and lovely musical chaos ensued. A perfect and immersive experience. Massive fun.
We collected it in the order it emerged, and we leave it here for you. Take it if you wish.

Feed your head...and turn it up!

Thanks so much to Greg Allan for helping with gear and most importantly slinging together a rig to record the noise at The Bakehouse - cheers bruv! Legend!

Thanks to Steve for lending your guitar and amp - Massive!

Thanks to all who helped or were involved, as we jammed through a hot Melbourne week - Champions all...Hurrah!

Thanks again to Kaitlin for the twisted and brilliant artwork, and the general inspiration and support. Massive Respect and Love!

As always, huge thanks to the Seiuchi collective:

Josh unfurled an avalanche of riffs and pure noise, always flowing, never slowing...cheers bruv!

Tetsuya - you walked in and owned it brother! Natural Seiuchi style, total immersion. Sugoi!! Arigato bro, You were epic!

Tosai!! The true power, the centre-heart-beat, and the inspired soul of it all...The Master! Champion!

It's been a while coming...enjoy the offering.

about

Seiuchi Melbourne, Australia

Seiuchi is a musical project begun in 2013.
We perform, capture and release live, instrumental, improvised moments. Seiuchi is a collective, Tosai and Sgt. Walrus are the core.
Getting together, communicating through music and sharing our culture is what we do.
We appreciate noise, chaos and intensity as much as subtle melody.
There are few rules.
You like what you hear?
Please spread the word.
